The spiritualist Church has worked within the Masonic Hall for over 50 years , many mediums  and visitors have walked through the doors of the Masonic Hall  entered as strangers and left as friends.

The Spiritualist Church now centre has provided many with solace, happiness , exitement , joy and friendship, whether attending  an evening of clairvoyance, a sunday service or a Psychic Fayre there has always been something for everyone to enjoy and participate.

I remember attending Clairvoyant evenings and  church services many years ago with my parents and siblings , when my great grandmother and my grandmother assisted within the church , my grandmother barbara Philpott  was a medium over many years  and became an ordained minister within the church and Baptised many of her grandchildren within the masonic Hall , i was mesmorized by her confidence , her kindness and empathy , how she placed a smile on those that  needed  it giving evidential confirmation that their loved ones were happy and at peace but with this also came laughter, respect and gratitude.

Over the years many mediums  attended the services at the Masonic Hall and became a league of friends , highly respected and thought of , there was one medium in particular that was always well respected at the church and still works today  , Daphne Webb , also known as the flower lady as she always gave the recipient of a message a flower. so many have come and gone at the Masonic hall whether they provided a service or were just visiting, always free to give their time and help their friends.

Back in 2020 the doors of the Masonic Hall closed due to covid, and many lost the privilidge of being able to meet in public places and  with their families and friends as  with so many other public gathering places, and gatherings , virtual classes were then the new norm , it wasnt until 2023 that i decided to take the plunge and see if i could open the doors to the public and once again  start the church, this time round having an hollistic approach which i felt was very much needed , introducing spiritual events such as the development classes, Reiki and spiritual healing classes and much more ,  which  with hard work , the help and friendships i built along the way and are still ongoing to reach my goals, so now the spiritualist church is the spiritualist centre providing hollistic events for all .

I have met some wonderful people on my journey which have supported me to move forward and give me the confidence to acheive my goals , the centre will still be a place of mediumship and worship to all those like minded people but also to all those that are just beginning their spiritual journeys  meeting individuals with the same beliefs and interest in spiritualism as themselves.
